Bonnie & Doug's Blacksburg Wedding
When I started driving to this wedding it was pouring rain, and I was preparing for the worst. But as I kept going the sky opened up and it turned into the most beautiful day for these two. This wedding was so gorgeous, and Bonnie & Doug's love for each other was obvious. There were so many special moments during this day, and as always I felt privileged to capture them.

Milka & Christopher's Tea Room Engagement
When Milka & Christopher wanted to do an engagement session over a hot cup of tea I jumped at the idea. The Ploughcroft Tea Room in Lynchburg, Virginia is one of the places they visited for dates, giving it special significance in these photos. I love trying to incorporate pieces of a couple's story into their session! After tea we headed to the park for a gorgeous sunset accompanied by some wine.
Sarah & Chaq's Cape Cod Session
During the first week of 2017 I traveled to Boston & Cape Cod to visit one of my oldest & dearest friends Sarah. A blizzard hit the day we planned to take photos in their little city of Falmouth on Cape Cod. Sarah and Chaq decided to brave the weather, and I'm so glad they did. I love how these photos turned out. They are like something out of a winter dream. Big, soft snowflakes, and a cozy coffee shop break to heat up. Different than any shoot I've done so far, and I loved it!
